Bang & Olufsen of Guildford – Trainee Installation Engineer

Join our team of installation engineers and train in all areas of fulfilment of Bang & Olufsen and Home Automation. And qualify to be a Bang & Olufsen authorise installation engineer in a huge growing market.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Training alongside Bang & Olufsen authorised installation engineers
  • Training with Bang & Olufsen UK
  • Training in home networks
  • Maintain and developing relationships with clients
  • Home visits with clients to carry out site surveys
  • Professional delivery and installation service
  • Programming and configuration of home automation systems
  • Project management

Core competences:

  • Experience in luxury or premium brand is an advantage, but not essential
  • Provide customer service excellence at every interaction 
  • Excellent organisation and decision-making skills   
  • Articulate written and spoken communication skills   
  • Full Driver's license.
  • Hold full work rights in United Kingdom

Bang & Olufsen of Guildford – Trainee Sales Executive        

Sales executive -  you'll be based in our showroom in Guildford but will also travel to meet clients and prospects. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Drive and win new business to meet monthly and annual sales targets
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients
  • Visiting potential customers for new business
  • Providing customers with quotations and proposals
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Representing the showroom and brand at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock
  • Recording sales and use of company’s CRM system.
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, against targets as you gain experience

Core competences:

  • Experience in luxury or premium retail is an advantage, but not essential
  • Provide customer service excellence at every interaction 
  • Excellent organisation and decision-making skills   
  • Articulate written and spoken communication skills   
  • Full Driver's license and own transport highly advantageous to conduct in-home visits 
  • Hold full work rights in United Kingdom
