Bang & Olufsen of Guildford – Trainee Sales Executive        


We have an amazing opportunity for someone to join our team, and one of the world’s most iconic audio-visual brands. As a trainee sales executive, you'll be based in our showroom in Guildford, but will also travel to meet clients and prospects. 

You will be reporting to the showroom manager and your responsibilities will include: 

  • Drive and win new business to meet monthly and annual sales targets
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
  • Visiting potential customers for new business
  • Providing customers with quotations and proposals
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Representing the showroom and brand at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock
  • Recording sales and use of company’s CRM system.
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, against targets as you gain experience

Core competences:

  • Experience in luxury or premium retail is advantages, but not essential
  • Provide customer service excellence at every interaction 
  • Excellent organisation and decision-making skills   
  • Articulate written and spoken communication skills   
  • Full Driver's license and own transport highly advantageous to conduct in-home visits 
  • Hold full work rights in United Kingdom
